Helping poultry farmers do more with every bird
FlockNest exists to put powerful, simple farm-management tools in the hands of poultry farmers everywhere, especially the millions of small and medium farms across Africa that run on hard work, thin margins and, too often, a paper notebook.
Poultry farming is a business of small numbers that add up: a few more eggs per bird, a little less feed wasted, one fewer outbreak caught early. But when records live in your head or on scattered paper, those numbers are impossible to see, let alone improve.
We built FlockNest to change that. It’s an app for your phone, with a web version for your computer, that lets you record everything that matters, from eggs, bird weights, feed, vaccines, sales and expenses to deaths and flock health, in seconds, even with no internet (it syncs once you are back online). Then it turns those records into clear insights and friendly, plain-language advice, so you can make better decisions every week.
FlockNest is part of a bigger platform: a farmer’s mobile and web app, a secure backend that keeps everything in sync, and an internal console our support team uses to look after accounts. But it all starts with one thing: making a farmer’s day a little easier and their farm a little more productive.
The values behind FlockNest
Built for the real world
Patchy networks, busy hands, dusty coops. We design for the conditions farmers actually work in, starting with offline-first.
Farmer-first, always
Every feature has to earn its place by making a farmer’s day easier or their farm more productive. No clutter, no jargon.
Trustworthy by design
Your records are encrypted on your phone in the mobile app, and your data is yours to control. Our AI gives advice, never risky medical instructions.
Made to be understood
Plain language throughout, so the whole team, not just the owner, can use it with confidence.
